[:en]BMC to export 320 buses to Azerbaijan

[:en]Under the new bus agreement signed between Turkey’s BMC and Baku Transport Agency, CNG buses will be delivered in 2021.

During the official visit of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Azerbaijan, the contracts on various fields were signed following the joint press conference held with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. One of the signed deals was between BMC and Baku Transport Agency (Baku Transport Agency / BNA). Under the new bus agreement, BMC will deliver a total of 320 buses which runs on compressed natural gas (CNG) to Baku in 2021.

“Healthy Future and Eternal Brotherhood”

BNA delegation visited BMC İzmir Pınarbaşı Facility immediately after the signing of the agreement. and tested BMC buses at the site.

During the visit, BMC Board Member Taha Yasin Öztürk and BNA President Vusal Kerimli planted olive trees, the symbol of peace and victory, with the slogan of “Healthy Future and Eternal Brotherhood” in memory of the Karabakh Victory.

The buses receive Best Design Award

The BMC buses, which have won the European “Best Design Award”, are manufactured with advanced technology and offer high safety and comfort for both the driver and passengers. With their high maneuverability, buses, which provide easy transportation even in the narrowest streets of a city, also provide environment-friendly transportation with the use of CNG.

The buses produced by BMC have been used in the transportation sector of Azerbaijan for a while.
